Christopher Boykin, known for his role as “Big Black” on MTV’s “Punk’d,” has been diagnosed with kidney cancer that has returned. The reality TV star’s family is speaking out about his condition.
“He’s been through hell and back again,” Boykin’s sister, Shadria, told TMZ on Monday. “He’s been through a lot of pain and suffering.” She said her brother is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments. “He’s still fighting.”
Boykin’s wife, Keely Shaye Brosnan, also took to Instagram to update fans on her husband’s condition. “It’s with a heavy heart that I must confirm that my beautiful husband @bigblackkilla has been diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer,” she wrote. “He’s currently undergoing chemo & we are doing everything we can to fight this together.” She added that doctors told her he has a 90 percent chance of beating the disease. “He’s still fighting hard & so are we,” she wrote. “We need your prayers & positive energy.” She also thanked her supporters for their well wishes. “Big or small every prayer matters,” she wrote. “God is good & we will come out victorious!”Atelier Jeanne Mane Delacroix will receive its first real life resident soon!
