Cinnamon 提供豐富的桌面特效自定義：內含諸如經典的果凍視窗等效果。提供獨立的特效控制中心，支持精細的自定義。Cinnamon 提供三種風格的桌面布局。2013年05月07日，Cinnamon 1.8 發布，該版本最值得關注的就是增加對 desklet 的支持，同時改進了檔案管理器、螢幕保護、控制中心等等。
