樂隊簡介

To/Die/For （簡稱 TDF) 是來自芬蘭東南部的Kouvola鎮的一支哥特金屬樂隊，成立於1993年。成立最初的時候是硬搖滾風格，樂隊名字為 Mary-Ann。1999年的時候他們決定更換為哥特金屬風格，也就此換了樂隊名字。2009年4月13日樂隊解散，隨後在7月4日重組，同時開始錄製新專輯。T.D.F第一屆成員在1999年2月7日與Spinefarm Records 以死冷著名的唱片公司 簽了第一張專輯的契約。2003年，這幫人跟Spinefarm Records散夥兒。翌年夏與Spinefarm/Universal簽約。樂隊陣容貝司：Eza Viren鍵盤：Juska Salminen （曾是芬蘭天團H.I.M的鍵盤手）鼓：Matti Huopainen前成員Juha Kylmauml;nen - Vocals （2004）Joonas Koto - Guitar （1999–2003,2006–2009）Roope Latvala - GuitarJuppe Sutela - Guitar （1999–2004）Miikka Kuisma - Bass （1999–2000)Marko Kangaskolkka - Bass （2000–2003）Tonmi Lillman - Drums （1999–2003）Mika Ahtiainen - Guitar

發展歷程

1999年2月7日To/Die/For 有記錄的唱片是安排在斯班佛錄製的。當時樂隊成員是：主唱Jape ，鼓手Tonmi，J-P和Andy 任吉他手，Miikka是貝司手。後來吉他手Joonas替代了Andy的位置。2000年的秋天， To/Die/For首次和Dark Tranquillity 以及 Sentenced 樂隊在弗拉門斯進行了第一次歐洲巡演。在隨後的巡演中貝司手Miikka被樂隊開除，頂替他的是Make。2001年的夏天，樂隊在錄製了第二張專輯Epilogue隨即進行的長時間令人疲憊的巡演後，吉他手J-P 因不堪疲憊離開了樂隊。他離開後樂隊不得不在芬蘭的巡演以及在歐洲、俄羅斯和墨西哥的巡演臨時聘請吉他手。2002年樂隊隊員在醞釀的新專輯Jaded的歌曲素材上鬧矛盾，公開地持續了長達七個月的內部決裂。不安晃動的樂隊在休整的時候僅僅在芬蘭的兩個音樂節上露過面。2002年10月12to die for日專輯Jaded著手在Astia錄音室錄製，期間Alli加入樂隊！他們的音樂在哥特的華麗中加入了許多甜美的流行元素，但是卻並沒有失去自己重型音樂的本質，並不像諸Rasmus、H.I.M那樣因為追求甜美，迎合大眾的耳朵而失去哥特金屬本身的特點。這也是一支充滿矛盾的樂隊，他們和69Eyes一起引領了重型哥特金屬流行化的潮流，也招來了無數傳統哥特金屬擁護者的批評，他們的音樂總是大受好評，樂手之間配合默契，偏偏內訌不斷。事實上他們在2003年《Jaded》這張驚世之作發行之後就陷入了無休止的爆發式內訌中，以至於2005年的《Ⅳ》並沒得到很高的評價，其中許多嘗試的變化也沒有引起重視。直到2005年12月他們的成員才完全穩定下來，接著他們就在2006年推出了全新大碟《Wounds Wide Open》，並在歐洲大獲成功.2009年4月13日，主唱jape在樂隊BLOG上宣布樂隊正式解散。2009年7月，樂隊和解。2010年5月發行精選集《Epilogue From The Past》。2011年9月32011.9.3to die for橘子洲音樂節演出照(20張)日，首次來到中國，並參加2011年橘子洲音樂節，大獲好評！
