Verni和鼓手Sid Falck入隊。Overkill樂隊以強力的速度和精湛的技術而聞名，由於音樂風格比較單一，他們的名聲並不如同期同類型的Metallica等樂隊響亮。但他們保持了自己的風格，並且在當時的地下金屬界獨樹一幟。1987年的Taking Over和1988年的Under the Influence是他們早期這種風格的代表作品。代表專輯1989年錄製完Years of Decay之後，創始人之一Gustafson離開了樂隊。他的替代者是Rob Cannavino，不久又換成了Merritt Gant。1991年，樂隊錄製了他們最有影響也是風格最多樣化的專輯Horrorscope。93年的專輯I Hear Black，樂隊又把鼓手更換成了Tim Mallare。在94年的專輯W.F.O之後，樂隊離開了簽約近10年的唱片公司Atlantic，加盟CMC國際。之後的幾張專輯(96的The Killing Kind, 97的From the Underground...and Below和99的Necroshine)，樂隊都使用的是Joe Comeau和Sebastian Marino的雙吉他組合陣容。99年Overkill還發布了他們的翻唱專輯Coverkill,其中包括了翻唱Black Sabbath, Jethro Tull, the Sex Pistols等的歌。隊員更迭Overkill的2000年新專輯Bloodletting中，樂隊陣容又有改變。兩位吉他手Comeau和Marino都離隊，新吉他手是 Dave Linsk。十幾年以來，Overkill的陣容象走馬燈一樣的變化，但樂隊卻似乎從未改變。聽那又快又狠的節奏，沒錯，這就是Overkill。

OVERKILL團隊吸取前身 NEXTEPISODE 店鋪與本土品牌MANIA的經驗,讓OVERKILL成為一支更為成熟且充滿美式休閒風格的品牌。OVERKILL一直與各界合作和名人之間的互動頻繁,舉凡知名新生代人氣演員-陳柏霖、台灣首席DJ-DJ MYKAL A.K.A 林哲儀、台灣流行教父黃子佼、搖滾歌手張震岳、知名歌手周杰倫、香港演員李燦森、日本搖滾天王降谷健志....等皆有許多次的聯名經驗.先後創造了台灣許多轟動的商品.並先後與潮流單位goodchoice、日本品牌deluxe、香港品牌SUBCREW、台灣品牌REMIX等品牌製作聯名商品。
