發展歷史

十一年前（也就是1996年），剛孕育成型Twilight Ophera樂隊看到了黎明前的第一絲曙光。1997年春天，他們在Cacophonous Records的支持下推出了一張小樣。在發行了首張專輯Shadows Embrace the Dark之後他們證明了自己是值得簽約的藝人。這張專輯奠定了他們在新興的黑金浪潮中的領先地位。在1999年推出了第二張專輯Midnight Horror之後，樂隊經歷了十分嚴峻的考驗－－老成員的離隊和跟唱片公司的糾紛，最後決定放棄所有離隊的成員，重新尋找新的唱片契約。在失去了鼓手Timo Kollin之後，樂隊又接受了接二連三的打擊，直到2001年，新的領唱Mikko H kkinen的加入才給這隻處於風雨飄搖中的樂隊注入了新的血液。新的專輯是在Low Frequency Records旗下發行的，這張名為The End of Halcyon Age的專輯是樂隊正式發行的第三張專輯，藉助兩位樂隊的狂熱崇拜者（鼓手Janne Ojala 和貝司手Jussi Heikkinen）的幫助，以毀滅性的火焰征服了2003年的夏天。2005年秋天，元老成員Mikko Kaipainen的離隊意味著一個時代的結束，2006年，Twilight Ophera再次出擊，Descension作為樂隊第四次瘋狂的產物，在 Low Frequency Records旗下全球發行，樂隊帶著10首全新歌曲，創造一種前所未聞的聲音，用來征服所有凡夫俗子。
