姓名：Gretchen Wilson生日：籍貫：伊利諾伊GretchenWilson是美國新近湧現出的鄉村音樂新星，雖然是一位新人，但是GretchenWilson卻是典型的大器晚成。GretchenWilson於1973年6月26日出生在美國伊利諾州鄉下的Pocahontas，當她出生時，她的母親只有16歲。由於家庭的原因，GretchenWilson從兩歲的時候就開始和家庭一起顛沛流離，居無定所。GretchenWilson的父親會彈吉他，還擁有一直旅行樂隊，但是父親卻從來沒有給她和母親帶來什麼就不見了。GretchenWilson只受過8年級的教育，在與母親相依為命多年之後，14、5歲的GretchenWilson就已經開始照料吧檯打工。不過即使是在這時候，喜歡唱歌的GretchenWilson也依然堅持每晚都去卡拉OK機那練習唱歌，並且隨著她對音樂興趣的加深，她也產生了離開家鄉去尋找更大發展的想法。
