組隊國籍美國組建時間1989風格類型Death Metal （死亡金屬）樂隊成員John McEntee - 主唱，吉它Joe Lombard - 貝司Kyle Severn - 鼓樂隊介紹在INCANTATION的發展歷史上，最顯著的特徵就是不停地更換樂手，以前整個樂團在九十年代除John以外，樂團數度易人。實際上樂團正在用這種方式影響著美國地下音樂圈甚至全世界的地下極端金屬樂團。還有就是樂團進行的大量演出，看過他們現場的人都說其精彩程度甚於其他任何一支，一支頗具爭議的最重量級的金屬樂團，INCANTATION在世界範圍內廣為巡迴。從阿根廷到歐洲，從中美洲到其它國家，就是黑暗十字軍在不斷推進戰線，在不停影響著數以千計的新一代樂迷。INCANTATION不但曾經和一些知名的老牌樂團象Cannibal Corpse（食人者之屍），Immolation（獻祭），Repulsion（厭惡），Suffocation（窒息），Unleashed（被釋）等樂團同台，更為許多樂團提供了第一次在美國演出的機會。這些樂團有Nile，Absu，Pungent Stench，Kataklysm（大變動）和Dying Fetus（死胎）以及世界其它角落的樂團，如挪威的Enslaved，巴西的Krisiun（危險期），和日本的Defiled（受污損），這些樂隊有的已經在世界舞台上頗有自己的地位，但是相信這些樂團對自己的同道INCANTATION必定都存有一份感激之情。INCANTATION帶著一點兒碾磨和厄運的感覺重返死亡金屬的根基。他們明智的將強烈、沉重的樂章和高速、精彩的重複樂段相結合，再插入殘忍的感覺而創造出自己獨有的黑色死亡之聲，在美國INCANTATION對於死亡金屬和黑暗金屬有著同樣深遠的意義，樂隊錄音室般品質優良的現場錄音，伴隨著音樂裡面其他樂隊不可等同的殘忍不斷強化著他們的地位，從始至終，INCANTATION獨一無二，沒有人可能重複他們晦暗中的全部歷程。發表專輯Onward to Golgotha (1992)Mortal Throne of Nazarene (1994)Upon the Throne of Apocalypse (1995)Tribute to the Goat (Live, 1997)The Forsaken Mourning of Angelic Anguish (EP, 1997)Diabolical Conquest (1998)The Infernal Storm (2000)Live - Blasphemy in Brazil tour 2001 (Live, 2001)Blasphemy (2002)Decimate Christendom (2004)
